Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of debaryelectrician.com, operated by DeBary Electrician Connect("we", "us"). By using the site or submitting a request through it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. What this service is
This site is a referral and marketing service. We are not a licensed electrical contractor. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, warrant, or guarantee electrical work of any kind, and we do not employ electricians. Our role is limited to passing your request to an independent licensed electrical contractor who services the DeBary, Florida area.
Any agreement for electrical work — including scope, price, schedule, permits, and warranty — is formed directly between you and that contractor. We are not a party to it.
3. No guarantee of availability, quality, or outcome
We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available, will contact you within any particular timeframe, will agree to take your job, or will quote any particular price. References on this site to fast or same-day response describe typical availability, not a commitment.
We do not warrant the quality, licensure status, insurance status, workmanship, timeliness, or conduct of any contractor you are connected with. You are responsible for your own due diligence, including verifying the contractor's Florida license through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, confirming their insurance, and obtaining a written quote before authorizing work.
4. Information is general, not professional advice
Content on this site, including blog articles, is general information about residential electrical topics. It is not an inspection, a diagnosis, or professional advice about your property, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for evaluation by a licensed electrician. Electrical work is dangerous; do not attempt work you are not qualified to perform.
5. Your submissions
You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to provide the contact details you enter. You agree not to use the site to submit false requests, to harvest data, to interfere with its operation, or for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse or remove any submission.
By submitting a request or calling the number on this site, you consent to being contacted by us and by the contracted electrician at the phone number and email you provide, including by automated means where applicable. You may withdraw that consent at any time by telling us or the contractor.
6. Call recording
Calls to the number on this site may be recorded for quality and customer service purposes. Consistent with Florida Statute §934.03, an announcement is played before the call is connected. Continuing the call after that announcement constitutes your consent to recording. If you do not consent, use the quote form or email instead.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, DeBary Electrician Connect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, property damage, personal injury, or other loss arising out of or relating to: your use of this site; any act, omission, delay, defect, or damage caused by a contractor you are connected with; or any work performed or not performed at your property.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to this site or a referral is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold DeBary Electrician Connect harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or any dispute between you and a contractor.
9. Intellectual property
The site's content, layout, and branding are owned by DeBary Electrician Connect. You may not copy or republish substantial portions without permission.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify these terms or discontinue the site at any time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated date above. We may restrict access to anyone who misuses the site.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Volusia County, Florida.
